The Black House for Young Couple – Casa MCK

This single black house is located in a closed neighborhood, 30km. away from Buenos Aires and belongs to young couple. It’s built on 20×50 meters area and has amazing views to the lake. The social areas of the house are divided in two parts. In one side are located the common areas, such as the kitchen and the dinning room. On the other side is located the living room to be closer to the lake. The shallow pool divides these areas and allows the indirect light to bathe the interiors. Northern sun’s light reflects the water surface and indirectly presented almost in every home’s corner. The other floor almost the same as the first one: bedrooms and kids room have lake views. The house has almost provocative design thanks to its contrasts. The exterior is pure black while the interior is almost white. It’s designed by Andres Remy Arquitectos.
